A little of history.
After the battle of Solferino, the County of Nice, by plebiscite, was connected in France. Antibes loses its strategic situation. Their strongly strengthened rampart has been destroyed in 1894.

The first tourists settle down to the Cap d' Antibes in 1862. They discover beauty of Juan les Pins that will not stop getting bigger from this date.

In 1910, Railroads PLM (Paris Lyon Marseille) Arrive until Antibes and Juan les Pins. It is from this date that the fortunate tourists begin to become established to
Juan.

The Great War marked a pause in the expansion of Juan. But during the crazy years, Juan Les Pins became a station of high international fame, with the
visit of numerous artists such Ray Ventura. The part of the coast between Croutons and cap was during some times an area of seaplanes.

The Stars of the whole world live in the year in The Provencal hotel where numerous evenings of official reception were offered and films of reappointed international were turned in this city adopted by the stars of the cinema.

Situation which went on after the war of 1939-1945 with more intensity.

The arrival in 1951 of Sydney Bechet and its Marriage to Antibes gave certain development to this tempestuous sea resort.

Numerous artists and personalities, such Coco Chanel, frequented the City famous depiction by the air of Jazz "in the streets of Antibes ". And so numerous cultural events and of elegance brought to Juan les Pins certain prestige.

On 1960 saws the first Festival of the Jazz frequented by all the big names of the Jazz and Juan les Pins is coupled with New Orleans.

With her Casino, her fashionable Bars and her Jazz clubs, Juan les Pins is the part of the city of Antibes city nosiest of French Riviera.
She offers to her guests, practically at every hours of day night and, all the entertainment, which can be asked by tourists who try to amuse in a sea resort.
